We would like to pass on our prayers and blessings as we celebrate our Risen Saviour this day. This is a difficult time in our economy as we witness the destruction of our currency and severe inflation in food and energy. The Lord knows your needs, even before you ask, so keep this in mind when dealing with difficult times, and of course keep the faith.

6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:6-13, KJV) |
Something to think about and pray over is that God the Father made an investment in YOU. He created you, and loves you so much that He sent His Son to the cross to pay for your sins. All He asks in return is that you put your faith and trust in Him alone, and build a relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. If you have not yet built that relationship, there is no better time to start than now. You can start right now by confessing your sins, and asking for His forgiveness, and getting to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. You cannot earn your own salvation by works, and you can never be “good enough” on your own merits to be saved. However, God the Father did make a way for you to be saved for free through the shed blood of His Son Jesus on Cross. Jesus paid a price for you on the Cross that you can never pay, and all He asks in return for this free gift is your faith in what He did for you. One of the best ways to start building that relationship is to get into a good Bible believing Church that trusts the Bible alone as the inerrant Word of God, and learn about what He did for you when He went to the cross.
He is Risen,
Job
