Things are heating up in the presidential campaign. Philip J. Berg, Esquire, a Pennsylvania attorney, has filed a suit against the Democratic National Committee challenging Obama’s qualifications to be President of the United States. Some of you may have been following this story, but it has now become a matter for the courts.
In the USA, the president is required to be a natural born citizen, and that issue is the basis of part of the claim made in the suit. Here is a link below to Philip J. Normally actions at law , a suit seeking the court to take a preventative action-an injunction or estoppel are usually resolved quickly. Documents proving the allegations to be false ends the action.
Ironically, what you have here is a classic case of a failure of the DNC to vet a relatively unknown state senator. Similar challenges were brought to John Mc Cains being born in Panama but to both parents being a us citizen and serving in the military.
The allegations of her late pregnancy trip to Kenya to meet relatives and then being forced to stay until after she gave birth seems plausible in light of the absence of information of a birth hospital in Hawaii. But questions like these to even be open at this point is the type of thing the press should have been investigating.
If nothing else, this Clinton supporter may get people to at least look at thee things.
It was my belief that the Indonesia passport usage at age 20 to go to Nicaraugua may be the I gotcha , but I am not a constitutional law expert. Is he a dual citizen of Indonesia? Was he adopted in Indonesia? These are troubling 8th inning questions?
Where was the press in checking this out? Where was the DNC? We are talking about making sure someone is qualified to be the leader of the free world.
