| restoration of friendship E-Mail: (Hidden email address) Category: Other 5/17/2007 10:33 AM A friend who has been a friend for 15 plus years and I were working on a project together, but we had a serious disagreement over method and started arguing, both of us insisting that a certain thing be done or not done. He has helped me a lot, but I made a mistake in trying to solve a problem and he went into kind of a rage about how he was unemployed and did not have anymore money, and he was, it seemed to me, misquoting what I had said. Anyway, something that shouldn't of really been a big deal became a big deal and seems to have parted us as friends. I responded by writing him a letter pointing out his faults, telling him I never ever intended to be a burden to him, and going home. It put a strain on our friendship that we've not had before. I am south of Austin, my name is Butch W*, and my friends name is Paul E*, he is in the Forth Worth area. I think we both need to understand where the other was coming from and continue our friendship without expecting the other to change the way they think about how to do things. Unfortanately sometimes our viewpoints clash, and then we need God's guidance? Thank You for your prayers. |
